MIKA software is a venture supported by USAID and implemented by DT Global as part of the USAID Kosovo Compete Activity. Developed by BBros, it introduces lean manufacturing principles to wood processing companies through digitization and automation, creating "smart factories".
Wood processing companies in Kosovo faced challenges in adopting modern manufacturing practices and optimizing production. Manual processes, inefficient inventory management, and a lack of real-time information were limiting their competitiveness in the global market.
MIKA software was refined to meet the needs of five pilot wood processing companies and implemented to digitize and automate their production processes. It offers real-time information on every phase of production, from bidding to stock management, supporting data-driven decisions.
